Frequently Asked Questions
When is the race?
The second annual A Run To Remember will be held on June 14th, race beginning at 11am and check in beginning at 9am.
Do I have to run or be competitive?
Nope! You can participate in A Run to Remember in any way you’re comfortable with. You can run, walk, or even skip if you want. Even if you do not plan on participating in the run you can show up to show support for other racers and the Alzheimer’s Association. We’d love to have you participate in the way you’re most comfortable with.
Can I be competitive?
You’re more than welcome to run your fastest to secure that first-place spot. We’ll have special medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall places. We will be collecting everyone’s times so let us know if you’d like yours!
Do I need to know someone with Alzheimer’s to participate?
Absolutely not. This 5k is open to everyone! You don’t have to feel the effects of Alzheimer’s disease in order to show up and show your support. The race is a great way to get out and have fun while supporting those who have been affected and supporting medical research.
What do I do on race day?
On race day please show up at least 30 minutes before the race starts at 11:00, so about 10:30. Check-in will start at 9:00 so feel free to come early and hang out! Please keep the confirmation email you should receive after purchasing registration as it will help us check you in.
